Icicles out the window

All the snow from the storm on Valentine's Day has iced over, making the world outside bright, shiny and extremely treacherous. This icicle hangs from a rose bush just outside our window.

Lloyds...still beautiful

Working on an assignment last weekend, I had the pleasure of shooting some of my favourite buildings around London. Lloyds may have a newer, more glamourous neighbour (the Gherkin) over the road now, but the building looks to me as elegent and beautiful as ever.

Prefab Peckham

One of the last prefabs in the neighbourhood. I'm a big fan of these little houses. It's sad to see them bulldozed to make way for the soulless fake loft places that seem to be cropping up everywhere at the moment. This is proper South London.

This is the pattern on my ancient copy of Byron's collected works. I love these old Penguin cover designs. They're like granny wallpaper but even better.
